Hundreds of police officials hold positions for which they are not promoted

According to a draft of the National Audition Office (ZKA), which the newspaper “Voice” has provided, it is said that there are no fewer than 375 Kosovo police officials holding positions in the Kosovo Police in disagreement with the winning degrees. The audience has also found a host of other violations in the department of Internal Affairs' subordinate institutions.

Three hundred and seventy-five Kosovo Police officials are holding job positions in disagreement with the degrees they have won during work in the Kosovo Police.

With the police general director's decision, compensation for these employees is done on the basis of position rather than on the degree the employee has actually reached.

But the move is contrary to the PC's salary system, where the basic wage cofficiti for police staff is determined depending on the degree rather than the position of the job.

This, but many other violations have been recorded during the audit of financial mirrors for the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MPB) during 2017.

The audit draft provided by the newspaper “Zer” says that the exercise of other degrees by not going through regular promotional processes and compensation according to positions is not in line with the wage system and increases the risk of running by persons failing to meet the necessary criteria.

According to the audience, this affects increased spending and budget damage.

“Minister and General Director of the Kosovo Police (PK) should ensure that the system of police staff in free positions takes place after meeting regular criteria or recruits within the KK and compensation of employed persons is made in line with degrees and with the current approved wage system”, the ZKA's recommendation for Kosovo Police says
