A peace pact with Serbia is all that Kosovo can give today, as it has given the most valuable, the most difficult one to give for peace, the lives of innocent people, while 116 martyrs of Vushtrri Studies are evidence of that.
Thus has Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj declared, on the 19th anniversary of the Studies massacre, where 116 civilians were killed.
Commenting on the very controversial Kosovo-Serbia agreement, Haradinaj stressed that Kosovo has already declared its own statute, and all it can do today is be part of a peaceful agreement that would pave the way for Kosovo's integration into NATO, the UN and the EU.
He added that central institutions will always maintain the honour for the fallens of freedom, and that the family of martyrs of Studies will have their own people eternally on the foundations of the state of Kosovo.
The mayor of Vushtrri municipality, Xhafer Tahiri, said that as every anniversary, today the study feels pain and pride in commemorating martyrs and martyrs.
