An armed man who has attempted to steal children and their family from a school in São Paulo has been killed by a mother.
Security cameras outside the private school in São Paulo filmed the dramatic moment Saturday morning about 8:00.
Katia da Silva Sestre, who shot at the armed man identified as Elivelton Neves Moreira, 21, was an off duty policeman.
Sackre was honoured as heroin for her act of bravery and was honoured at a ceremony by São Paulo Governor Marcio Franca on Sunday.
