Mayor Agim Aliu has said that Minister Luka is in Ferizaj to testify once again that the Government of Kosovo is extremely supportive of the projects, to the citizens of this municipality.
“We agreed to push ahead with the issue of sewage treatment, because we already know that such projects were developed in other Kosovo municipalities, and we agreed that the Ministry of Economic Development would support the project that would eventually become the treatment of sewage even in terms of Ferizjt”, Aliu said.
Minister Luka pledged that all the support necessary for the implementation of this long-awaited project will be provided.
So it is the treatment of sewage for Ferizaj, it is a 25m-euro project that will be dedicated and financed by foreign funds and through the Ministry of Economic Development, where the Government of the Republic of Kosovo will have a contribution, but also the municipality. We expect that very soon this project is expected to begin, which we have given as deadlines by the end of June, but can also begin earlier”, Minister Luka has said.
The meeting also discussed the functioning of public enterprises, or local government access and the central level for modernising them and increasing the efficiency of the work of these companies.
