The Municipal Inspectorate in co-operation with the Kosovo Police in Ferizaj has confiscated and eliminated a large quantity of meat and milk bylaws, which because of not meeting transport conditions have resulted in broken results.
The amount seized and eliminated is about 700kg found on two transport vehicles, the Ferizaj municipality reports.
The Comunal Inspectorate, due to this case, in addition to the seizure and extermination, has prosecuted the case in the justice organs, allegedly at the Foundation Court in Ferizaj.
Municipal Inspectorate Co-ordinator Ridvan Berisha said the action on meat quality control and other products offered on the market is continuing with inspections on daily bases.
The seized “sesia has been destined to be distributed into sales points, either our city's markets. We expect justice bodies to do their work in public health protection”, he said.
The Comunal Inspectorate thanks the Traffic Unit for co-operation in today's action and earlier shares, which has resulted in the prevention of the distribution of large amounts of damaged products directly affecting the health of citizens.
