The number of cases of child violence continues to rise year-on-year.
One such case occurred this Friday when Father physically attacked his daughter, KTV reports.
Workers at the Centre for Social Affairs in Pristina have discovered this case since the minor has been for treatment at this centre, immediately reporting the parent to the police.
But after the interrogation, Father, according to the police report, has been released by the prosecutor.
The director of the Centre, Webi Mujuk, says that parents should head to this center rather than try to solve all problems violently.
For Mujk, it remains a source of concern to prevent such cases from being punished.
During the past year alone, there are 1,269 reported cases of domestic violence, of which 61 victims are children.
According to police, 281 cases of domestic violence were reported during the first three months of this year.
Three days ago, Luan Brnjashi died as a result of the violence his father caused him.
