Facebook is asking British users to send their photos so they can stop the social network.

If you're worried that one picture of you would be distributed by someone else, the idea of Facebook is that it's blocked before it's online, the BBC writes, reports Periscope.

Similar technology is used to test the ban on distributing images with child abuse.

Facebook has been testing the system in Australia and distributing it to the UK, the United States, and Canada.

A spokesman told Newsbeat that this idea is also open in the United Kingdom now.

Facebook hasn't discovered any details about how this worked in Australia yet clearly, the idea requires a great measure of confidence in Facebook.

Would you send sexually detective photos of yourself to Facebook? /Periscopi
