The most experienced diver in Kosovo speaks: There is no chance that police troops are being held in Macedonia

For the third day in a row, police, Kosovo Security Force and volunteer citizens are conducting research on two missing police officers with an official car accident at Elez's Han/Kakanik magistrate who have fallen into the river Lepenc. Some 170 people have been hired to find the police. But in [...]
You don't believe the bodies of two policemen who were involved in the Kacanaik-Han of Elez and fell into the Lepenc River may have been carried in the Macedonian part.
The diving expert, Ismail Kasumi, has indicated he is not participating in the search operation for the two police officers who are continuing for three days now.
He says he has received no invitation from Kosovo investigative bodies, even though he stresses he is the only diver with adequate equipment for the job. But, Kasumi says that on the basis of experience, he believes the bodies of two policemen, Malsor and Armendi, are still found in the waters of Lepenc within Kosovo's territory.
“I believe those people, if they fell into the river, could not cross Kosovo's territory. That river is not deep, some digging in the river's current, some wells may have been created there. I don't believe the bodies were transported to the territory of Macedonia”, he says.
Meanwhile, the man who has recovered nearly 500 people from Kosovo's waters has expressed his conviction that within a short period of time the two officers will be found. But he says to find them, it takes professional people.
I'm the first man to get an initiative and train all KSF soldiers to dive. I am now back in Kosovo, not participating in diving. No one called me. The point is that we don't know our profession anymore. I'm the first man to bring the diving device to Kosovo. I'm seeing a lot of people getting in the water without any diving device”, Kasumi said.
But, he insists that given the flow of the Lepenc River, troops are still in Kosovo.
I'm very conscious to say, that first the river should be known, contact to where it can be sent, as well as the riverbed. I'm very sorry to say that they're not loving professional people. There is no river in Kosovo, nor any lake that does not know its flow. They've been in a police uniform, if they've fallen into the water they can be caught anywhere”, he explains.
The officers who were hit on Saturday were in an official car at Elez' Kacanik- Hani-Hann and then the car fell off the Lepenc River bridge.
Research is also being done on the border side with Macedonia. Authorities there are looking for the eventual find of the bodies of two policemen, as allegations are that the flow of water has been able to transport police troops.
