New Details on Kosovo that was burned along with its car in Albania

The burnt body found inside a car in Fushe-Kruje is thought to belong to a 57-year-old from Kosovo, identified as Xhafer Osmani.

Kosovo police have claimed that his family has denounced him as missing, while Osmani appears to have entered Albania on April 29th 2018, writes Lapsy.

Police say they remain pending DNA results, to confront those of his family.

Sources say the event is towards full maturity, while “Panorama” reports that the victim allegedly had a love connection with a woman in Fushe-Cruje.

Kosovo license plates 02 960 SN entered Albania via the Morina border point on April 29th. Today, on May 5th, the vehicle was found burning among herbs on a land in the village of Derven, Frushe-Cruja, about 250m from the main road of vehicles.

“We are currently co-operating with the Kosovo police, who have confirmed to bring us biological information and champion of Xhafer Osman's family, with the aim of conducting DNA tests for identifying the fully burned body” A source from police.

Police suspect that it's a murder and then burning the vehicle with the inside to hide traces. In a proposal he had earlier with Express, Durres Police Director Alfred Chepe said the Durres police and prosecutors are co-operating with Kosovo authorities, because the only link to this state is license.

“Crime specialists in co-operation with the Judiciary District Prosecutor Kruja are working on identifying the person who was burned and making the whole causes of the” event clear, police said in a preliminary statement.

It's still not known whether the person was killed with a firearm or burned alive inside the vehicle. Forensic expertise expected to shed light on the event
