From Lisbon, where it is located to represent Cyprus at <x0 Eurovision, singer Eleni Fouureira has expressed pride in coming from Albania.
In an interview with the Wiwiblogs , Eleni claims he abandoned Albania during the 1999 civil war.
“It was very difficult to leave Albania and go to a new country where you don't know anyone and you're seven. And you'll start your life all over again. It was difficult, but it was beautiful. What happened in my life made me what I am todayEleni said.
Earlier, the singer was accused by Albanian fans that she has always hidden the fact that she was born in Fier and is Albanian. But apparently, Eleni no longer has a problem accepting the fact that Albanian blood flows into her blood.
