A former communist party official in China has been sentenced to life in prison for accepting bribes. He has received a tip of about 20m euros in exchange for a high position.
Sun Zingcai, is the last senior official to drop “viktime” of President Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign.
The 54-year-olds will be confiscated all illegally acquired assets, reports the BBC, past Kosova Prees.
The Chinese president has declared his personal mission the collapse of highly present corruption in the country. More than a million officials have been sentenced since his arrival in power.
But neither does he miss the charges. Critics accuse him of using the anti-corruption campaign to silence critics.
