Chinese President Xi Jinping long ago stated that China must be a “great power in space” and, according to him, is the top priority of the Chinese government, where the main goal is to send a space station into orbit around 2022, reports “Reuters”, the Periscope broadcast.
The launch of the “Chongqing Liangjiang Star” missile was built by “OneSpace Technology”, a Beijing-based private firm marking the first time a non-state Chinese missile has successfully entered orbit, said the official news agency “inhua<x>
The rocket uses energy storage technology, and owns wireless communication.
The company expects 10 missions to be launched towards space by 2019, said leader Shu Chang.
