Serbia's Parliament's European Integration Committee Chairman Nenad Canak has invited two Kosovo commissions to take part in the Interparmental Conference “over the EU's idea of peace and development”, which will be held in Serbia.
Serbia has for the first time invited two commissions from Kosovo, the Commission for Foreign Policy and the Commission for Integration.
If Vjosa Osmani has been invited as chairman of the Commission for Foreign Policy, the invitation from Canak has also gone to Blerta Deliu, chairman of the European Integration Commission.
In a proposal for the Express Journal, Deliu indicated he was invited as chairman of this commission, but the same could not be present because of another agenda. And for that, Ilir Deda, who is a member of the commission, will be participating.
Because of another agenda, previously envisioned, I will not be a participant, but as a commission member Ilir Deda has been delegated to attend”, Deliu ough Kodra said.
LDK MP Vjosa Osmani, also head of the Foreign Affairs Commission, has admitted she will go to Serbia's Parliament.
But, Serbia's Parliament Speaker, Maja Gojkovovic, has said no Kosovo MP can attend the interparliamentary conference.
Canak, has planned this meeting as an interparliamentary conference through the EU's idea of peace and development, to be held on 11 May and 12 May in Belgrade.
