“Luzhniki Stadium” Moscow is the largest stadium in Russia's 2018 World Championship.
The World opening match will take place on June 14th, as well as the grand finale on July 15th.
Luzhniki has an incredible capacity of 81,000 free countries. Luzhnik was the main stadium of the 1980 Olympic Games, hosting opening and closing ceremonies, as well as some of the events, including the finals of the football tournament.
A category 4 stadium from U EFA, Luzhniki hosted the U Cup final EFA in 1999 and the finals of the Champions League in 2008, where Manchester United defeated Chelsea's post-principle scan.
The stadium was built between 1955 and 1956 and originally called “Lenin” Central Stadium. The field was renovated in 1996 and is widely built in preparation for the 2018 World Cup. In this stadium, the opening match and the final will be played three games during the group stage, the third round match 1/16 and the second semifinal.
