A soldier in San Marco, Texas, has died Thursday week in an unconnected military incident, the US Department of Defence has suggested.
U.S. Army Sergeant Conrad A. Robinson, 36, died Thursday at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo, the Pentagon has announced, broadcast Koha.net.
Robinson was an 18-year-old veteran and was on his last tour in office, according to his mother, Synthia Robinson.
Robinson was deployed at Operation Joint Guardian, joint mission NATO to help Kosovo, as a pre-emptive medical specialist.
Robinson's death is still under investigation. Synthia says he was found in a lifeless chair Thursday morning before regular exercises.
He leaves behind his wife and two daughters, ages 5 and 10.
