Catania's court has called for serious punishment measures for some involved in a megaproces against the Sicilian Mafia clans Cosa Nostra of their power struggle.
Among them are two Albanians, Erson Zhuka and Ermir Baja.
The Katania Court has sought 18 years in prison for Erson Zhuka and 12 years in prison for Ermir Baja on charges of participating in mafia activity, international drug trafficking between Albania and the Italian provinces of Katanais, Ragusa and Syracuse.
But Erson Zhuka's name relates to another important process, with that of the Habila group expected to begin on May 31st in Catania.
In the investigative file of the Habilla Group under the voice of “orgjigen of the launch of investigations” Italian anti-mafia writes that the investigation launched since 2012 against Erson Zhuka, considered a dangerous criminal element operating on the territory of Ragusa province, had revealed his contacts with Moisiu Habilaj.
Further investigations by Italian Antimaphias revealed that Moses Habilaj was a major drug dealer between Albania and Italy, thus giving way to launching investigations of Operation Rosa Dei Venti.
Erson Juka's name is mentioned several times and is mentioned in wiretapping and environmental conversations of the Habillas.
Erson Zhuka of Ermir Baja is considered members of the Cosa Nostra mafia and described in the war between the Sicilian mob family clans Viszini, Francofte and Grammichel.
