They present resources providing stable social conditions, and that money mainly goes to household consumption and very little for investment in business.
According to the Kosovo Central Bank (BQK), remittances from the diaspora within a year amount to over 750m euros, RTK broadcast.
“Remits accepted in Kosovo during 2017 marked the value of 759.3m euros, while 691m euros were sent in 2016. In the first two months of 2018, 108.3m euros have been sent to”, the BQC's monthly statistical bulletin says.
diaspora remittances, according to the delivery channels, are mostly sent by money transfer agencies, followed by other transfer channels and banks.
