The prosecution has provided sufficient evidence that enforces indictees in manipulation with veterans' lists. These discussions also refer to Xavit Haliti as the man they meet in the matter. It mentions concrete meetings with Haliti. He recently was mentioned with another scandal by Anton Kuni, that he had received 8 million marks from Ahmet Krasniqi.
Kosovo Deputy Speaker Xhavit Haliti has been involved in selling the status of UCK veteran. His application is revealed in phone conversations between accused Bajram Sinani and Vesel Arqaj.
The prosecution claims that Sinan has been engaged in fraudulent activities regarding the status of war veterans.
On April 24, 2016, at 12:36:51, Bajram Sinannu calls an unknown male person (PPM) who tells him that “if it is possible to return to the disabled of the war. Sinan vows to speak to Xhavit Halit.
On October 11, 2016, at 14:19:47 Vesel Aruqaj speaks to Bajram Sinan, who is using the number 044 069 968. Wessel Aruqaj tells him: Listen, man, I spoke to Xhavit Haliti, I arranged for him to meet him on Monday, and my friend from Shtime” writes on the indictment provided by Insander.

The accused of selling veteran's status, Vesel Arugaj, has long been named the live hero of the Kosovo Liberation Army. He had won this epithet as one of Kostunica's warriors. In that battle, he had killed a Russian mercenary who fought alongside Serbian forces.
Aruqaj, later became a protagonist of an attack on the Kosovo government's object with weapons and Molotov cocktails, in protest of the KLA veterans' status not resolved.
Years later, the veteran's status is accused of misusing him to become part of a criminal scheme that in exchange for large money has affected the delivery of false certificates.
The fourth point of the indictment details criminal acts related to the status of war veteran. Sheremet Jashari of the Squirrel Epper and Squirrel Clina and Vesel Aruqaj of Pollac.
They are charged that at least from December 2015, acting under a joint criminal plan -- all over Kosovo -- have submitted application forms concerning the contribution of Kosovo citizens to the Kosovo Liberation Fight, which according to the prosecution does not correspond to reality.
“Applications have been handed over to the Office for War Category Issues, so that candidates can be accepted the NLA War Veterans category, despite the fact that these candidates do not meet the constitutional criteria”, writes in the indictment provided by Insadeder.
By performing these actions, according to the Prosecutor, they have exposed authorities who have accepted the status of the KLA Warrior Veterans.
Sheremet Jashari and Vesel Arushaj are also accused of influence. It is claimed that both -- at least by December 2015 -- have acted according to a joint plan throughout Kosovo have demanded money from individuals who have sought to register as KLA Warrior Veterans, despite the fact that they do not meet the legal criteria.
The accused have promised applicants that they will exert the necessary influence on members of the Office on war-related categories issues so that the veterans' demands can be approved.
“They have done this by presenting information to authority about candidates they knew to be false so that candidates could obtain benefits from public funds”, the indictment says.
Bajram Hasani, from the village of Svanafc on charges that in January 2013 he applied for recognition of the status of War Veterans The KLA through a parachute into the Office on War-led Category Issues.
“He acted in order to provide illegal material obtaining by misleading authorities because the information he offered on his application form, namely that he was on the line of the front during the 1998 to 1999 Kosovo Liberation War, turned out to be false and the signatures of witnesses listed in his application form have been forged”, writes in the indictment.
With that move, he has managed to gain veteran status by profiting from 170 euros per month. He received that amount from December 2015.
