A colleague of Katerina Tikhonow's dance has confirmed that she is the youngest daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Confirmation by an official of the Rockleder World Confederate of Rock '%n' Roll (ËRRC) comes two years after Reuters had discovered the relationship between Tikhono and the president, but that was denied by both sides.

Vice President SERC told Reuters it had recognised Tikhonov after they worked together in the coalition presidency.

When asked if he knew Tikhono was Putin's daughter, he said: “Y. I know him, of course”

While the Kremlin and Tikhono had not responded to the request to comment on the matter.
