The heads of Parliamentary Groups are expected to gather on Tuesday to start working about establishing the investigative commission to illuminate the circumstances of the expulsion of six Turkish citizens on 29 March.

Various international organisations, as well as local critics, have said their deportation presents human rights violations as well as violations of the Kosovo Constitution.

The Parliamentary Groups' Secrets will meet on Tuesday, and I expect the same day to be dedicated to the Investigative Commission”, has told Radio Free Europe, Bilall Sheriff, chief of the Parliamentary Group of Social Democrat Initiative.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Arberie Nagavci believes this Commission will begin work this week. According to her, the Commission should find out who the commanders of the expulsion of Turkish citizens were.

I believe that this week the commission will consolidate and then do the work plan and decide what the organs should be immediately contacted, responsible persons and should be investigated in detail so that we can have a slightly clearer mirror, because it's clear that we've had violations of the law, of certain laws, in fact, and of the Constitution itself, but it should be accurately seen who is the commanding officer”, MP Nagavci told Radio Free Europe.

MP Ilir Deda, from the Alternative, which is part of the coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo, has said he believes that through this Commission, persons who according to him have violated the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo will be brought to justice.

Other investigative commissions have never looked into or taken into investigation of the Constitution's violation. This is the first time that Kosovo has such parliamentary investigative commissions, which will verify steps that institutions have undertaken by violating the Constitution of Kosovo, and of course those responsible will at the end of”, Ilir Deda has said.

Through this commission, Kosovo Assembly deputies seek to find out if legal procedures for deportation of six Turkish citizens have been followed, Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy Andy Hoti has said.

The “Commission has for mandate or what this commission intends to consider is for the compatibility of procedures that have been followed in connection with the case of the arrest of Turkish citizens and whether it has been in conflict with the Kosovo Constitution” MP Hoti has said.

All six Turkish citizens were arrested and expelled on a Turkish Intelligence Service plane on March 29th, just hours after they were arrested by Kosovo Police in co-operation with the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI).

Kosovo's top leaders, the president, prime minister and prime minister have declared they were unaware of such an operation, and all third have said it was a wrong move.

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has dismissed his interior minister, Flamur Sefaj and Chief of Intelligence Driton Gashi, following the expulsion of six Turkish citizens.

Five of the persons expelled from Kosovo were school employees “Mehmet Akif” in Kosovo, owned by Turkish cleric Fetullah Gulen, meanwhile the sixth person was a Turkish doctor.

Ankara charges them with suspicion that they are members of Turkish religious leader Fetullah Gulen's Hismet organisation.
