Police in Canada have confirmed that 14 people lost their lives when a truck and a bus in which a Canadian hockey team crashed Friday evening.
Kidgoldt Broncos was traveling north on 35th highway to Tisdale, in Saskatchevan province.
Canadian police said 28 people were on the bus, 14 of whom lost their lives, including the driver. The other 14 people on board were taken to the hospital. Three are in critical condition.
In a tweet, the Canadian prime minister expressed regret over what happened and comforted families.
The Lost Broncos, playing young men's league, were traveling for a play-off match against Nipawin Hawks. Its members are all between the ages of 16 and 21.
