Kosovo President Hashim Thaci speaking at the celebration “Days of the Albanian” held annually in Kostare said Kosovo has gained independence and citizenship due to the fall of the nation's martyrs such as Agim Ramadani, Sali Cekaj and other martyrs fallen in Kostunica.
According to him, thanks to these martyrs Kosovo today is moving safely towards European integration.
Thaci also cited threats coming from Serbia, but said that <x0 threats would be answered as we did 19 years ago, with rifles”, the president said.
Kosovo is sometimes being managed with direct threats from Serbia. Any threat will be answered as we answered earlier”, Thaci said on the day he was remembering the Battle of Kostunica”, he said.
The “Day performance of Eagle” is being held in honour of the 19th anniversary of the Battle of Kosare, which eventually broke the border between Albanian lands that had been imposed for centuries by invaders.
