At the meeting of the Commission for Public Administration, Local Governance and Media, the Law for the capital has been adopted along with the capital's police amendment.
The news has revealed President Shpend Ahmeti, who has said this law is essential for the best functioning of the capital.
“Today, on the Commission for Public Administration, Local Governance and the Republic Assembly Media has passed the Capital Law along with the Capital Police Amendment. This Law is essential for the even better functioning of our capital. The final vote at the 2003 plenary session is expected soon, Ahmeti wrote.
The bill for Pristina regulates the organisation and functioning of the capital, under which there should be special legal status under the Constitution.
