A sharp response comes from Turkey: Kosovo has obligation to protect Turkish citizens, officials

Turkey's Foreign Ministry has made a reaction calling the media groundless and manipulation claims that 6 gylenists have been held at Turkey's Embassy in Pristina. Aksyou has asked Kosovo to take care of the actions they take for “gylenists”.

They have also criticised the media for provocative news that, according to Turkish MPJ, is intended to attack Turkey's ambassador. We also expect our friends to have a careful and uncompetitive approach to the actions of these members of the terrorist organisation and the circuits that support them. On the other hand, provocative news in media aimed at our Embassy, particularly our ambassador, claiming that the people who were deported from Kosovo were at our embassy in Pristina are unfounded. We also reject and strongly condemn such harmful media manipulation”, the communique concludes.

This response has come after reports that Turkey's ambassador has been involved in the extradition of 6 Turkish citizens.

For the extradition of “gylenists” has protested several times before the Turkish Embassy in Kosovo, but also before the government.
