Turkey's Foreign Ministry has made a reaction calling the media groundless and manipulation claims that 6 gylenists have been held at Turkey's Embassy in Pristina. The offensive, which launched yesterday against Kosovo, has continued from Turkish diplomacy, which has asked authorities in Kosovo to be careful with their embassy in Kosovo.
Within the last 24 hours, Kosovo has received two threats from Turkey. The first was Erdogan's threat to Haradinaj, while the other is to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which calls on Kosovo to be careful with the Turkish Embassy in Pristina. All of these developments are taking place after the kidnapping and then the destruction of six jihadists in Turkey.
Turkey's Foreign Ministry has commented on protests before the Turkish Embassy in Pristina, but also on media writings.
The spokesman for this ministry, Hami Aksyou, in a statement published on the Turkish MPJ site has said the face of the Ghulen organisation “is exposed to actions against Turkey”.
In this communiqué it has been said that Kosovo is responsible for the security of Turkish citizens, missions and other officials.
The true face of the Feto organisation again is being exposed worldwide with their actions against Turkey and its missions. Kosovo authorities have been reminded that the security of Turkish citizens, missions, officials and companies in the country is largely responsible for Kosovo as a host and we expect to act within the framework of their international obligations”, reportedly announced by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Aksyou has asked Kosovo to take care of the actions they take for “gylenists”.
They have also criticised the media for provocative news that, according to Turkish MPJ, is intended to attack Turkey's ambassador. We also expect our friends to have a careful and uncompetitive approach to the actions of these members of the terrorist organisation and the circuits that support them. On the other hand, provocative news in media aimed at our Embassy, particularly our ambassador, claiming that the people who were deported from Kosovo were at our embassy in Pristina are unfounded. We also reject and strongly condemn such harmful media manipulation”, the communique concludes.
This response has come after reports that Turkey's ambassador has been involved in the extradition of 6 Turkish citizens.
For the extradition of “gylenists” has protested several times before the Turkish Embassy in Kosovo, but also before the government.
