In an interview given to '%Espresso from Serbia, Sainovic questions the KLA's activities during the war period.
“in the 90s, Rugova held elections in Kosovo. We didn't intervene in these choices, but of course we didn't know them. Various Albanian structures in Kosovo participated in these elections. There was even a small branch of Albania's Stalinist Marksist- Leninist Party from Tirana. This was Enver Hoxha's party, which lost the elections in Albania but had a small voter escort to Kosovo. In this election, they didn't get five percent, so these are the people”, Sainovic says.
He even says they became part of the secret services installed by Albania in Kosovo.
“They have become instruments of the Albanian state's secret security services, originally formed as general headquarters. According to our reports they formed the Kosovo Liberation Army to reduce Rugova's influence in Kosovo and destroy them within the Albanian body”, he adds.
According to him, justice was not testified to by the trial of Fatmir Limaj and Ramush Haradinaj, as he says, even though the two accused in question were acquitted, the trial against them confirmed that the camps where they allegedly committed crimes existed.
Otherwise, former Serbian Prime Minister Nikola Sainovic was also charged by The Hague's Tributal for war crimes.
