Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said Europe is underestimating the risk of the “idea. Greater Albania”.
The president who has given several Western states recognition of Kosovo's citizenship, while on the other hand ignoring Serbia's interests, is a major risk to peace and security not only in the Balkans, but also across Europe”, Voulin said.
He has yet talked about that this situation could lead to the opening of a conflict.
“Facorisation of the nationalist ideas of Greater Albania that its expansion should be carried out in areas where Serbs live will inevitably lead to a conflict. Europe is not working to prevent the concept of “Greater Albania”, and are underestimating the risk from it”, Volin said.
“Security challenges are common to us, but the answers to them are often not,” he said, completing his presentation.
The conference is based on international security, and representatives of 96 states, defence ministers and military officials are participating.
