Renowned Albanian characters married to foreigners

Love knows no age, nationality, or religion. None of us can program for who we marry. It is the heart that makes that decision. Granted, not everyone's heart decides. But in most cases, when a person is in love with someone foolishly, he also decides to finalize the relationship in his marriage. There are some well-known Albanian characters, who are married to foreign nationals, and are really doing well, even though they may have different traditions. They have shown that love finds the way and the tongue, even when you're not from the same place.

Lorik Cana and Monica Ercol
The legendary former captain of Albanian nationals, Lorik Cana, had never thought he would marry a girl who was not Albanian. He seemed as patriotic as his wife was supposed to receive it from Kosovo or Albania. But the heart does not ask, and in 2014 Lorik Cana ended her singleness by marrying Monica, who is Italian. They're happy together, and they have a son, who they called Boike.
