Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj today has reacted to the disappearance of two policemen who crashed into the Lepenc River, located in the Kacanik-Eater of Elez last night.
He says that it is sad and that he shares concern with family and friends.
It is very sad news of the disappearance of two Kosovo police officers on the Lepenc River. I share concern with family and friends at this very difficult stage of hope and fear of the fate of our policemen.
Events like this make us never forget that Kosovo police are the ones that most hard and often, and sacrifice makes it possible for us to live in a safe environment.
I thank all relevant units, the Kosovo Police, The KSF, firemen and all involved in the search for our two police officers. Haradinaj wrote on Facebook, broadcast Periscopi.
Police and divers have continued their search until 0400 a.m., but no results.
Ferizaj Regional Police spokesman Agim Gashi today for Periscope has said that in the early hours of the morning, they have been forced to switch the search due to night conditions.
But he said that today they're going to continue on the slaughter of two cops.
We're working together with KSF and divers. At four o'clock, they've been interrupted because of the night conditions and we're going to continue our research today, Gashi said of Periscope.
We're doing our research and we can't predict what's going to happen further, he added.
Periscope has learned that the cops in question come from cachanic, and their names are Malesor Dash and Andur Train. /Periscopi/
