Pacolli calls on Israel to recognise Kosovo

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has sent warmer congratulations to the people and representatives of the state of Israel on the case of the 70th anniversary's Jubilar year of Independence. Pacolli has once again appealed to the head of the Israeli state for reexamination of recognition.
Pacolli has once again appealed to the head of the Israeli state for reviewing the UN-run recognition of the Republic of Kosovo's independence in the tenth year of its existence as an independent and sovereign state.
In this particular year of marking the 70th anniversary of Independence, I would like to send sincere congratulations to the people and leadership of the state of Israel. Coexistence and harmony between Kosovo Albanians and Jews have centuries-old historical traces in our country, including the glorious period of aid in their salvation during World War II”, Kosovo's top diplomat said.
The relations between our two countries have also marked continued promotions at the institution level since our declaration of independence ten years ago, but this may be an important moment to reflect on the review of Kosovo's recognition and de jure. We expect in the near future to have Kosovo representation in Israel”, Pacolli has said.
