Mortar remains of at least three persons have been found in a site marked for mass cemetery on the exit of Gjakova, near the former subx0> Metaliku”.
Kohavision has found out that Serbs killed during the war in Kosovo are allegedly buried there.
But such a thing has not been confirmed by EULEX experts who, in co-operation with Kosovo experts, have been restarting excavations in the area for days.
EULEX Legal Medicine Department Chairman Tarja Formisto has told KTV's that so far, they have found the morto remains of 3 people and are suspected to be from the last war.
The “Indications are that they are from the last war in Kosovo. Their ethnicity and everything else will be determined after DNA tests are done. Actually, we've found three bodies and that's what we can confirm so far, we're in the middle of work and nothing else can be said. Things are gonna be cleared up next week when we do this”, Formisto said.
Day-to-day excavations are being monitored by Kosovo and Serbia government commissions.
Excavations to reveal the truth whether in the vicinity of the former Metallik construction there were mass graves started in November last year. Initially, a concrete plaque has been removed, which has been located there and experts have now encountered mortore remains of at least three people. Excavations will continue next week.
