But, he has said, the government will monitor the tendering process for the construction of the thermal power plant, and depending on the cost of its construction will be determined even the loan the company will receive.
For this, he has said it is working to make the price for megawatts not worth 80 euros, which is set in the contract as the highest price.
Luka has added that it is working to eliminate technical losses as well as illegal keys, which have so far been billed to citizens.
But in Express, KTV interview Agron Demi from the GAP Institute said this would be minimal growth if power distribution operators do not increase costs even more.
Investment is expected to take place at the Kosova B thermal power plant as well, while the cost of closing the Kosovo thermal power plant will be billed to citizens.
Minister Luka has acknowledged that the loans for projects, related to coal, are of higher interest to about 20 %. Minister Luka is hoping the Government will find opportunities for a lower rated loan, but setting the standard for coal projects is made by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development O ECD.
