Kosovo vacationers have trouble road tax in Durres

Due to stable temperatures and sunny weather, the Durres coast has seen influx of tourists not only from Tirana, but Kosovo. For Kosovo vacationers, this weekend without paying the national Road tax tastes even more.

They say they love Albania and its coast, but the tax should be more reasonable.

We're from Peja and we're here for the weekend. Durres is beautiful, but it's good to think about this tax. The government has imposed high taxes, and must take measures to lower the tax, otherwise vacationers will flee to other countries. At least 2.5 euros would be OK”, a vacationer from Kosovo said, TopChannel reports.

The application of the property tax, which affects and the second houses on the coast, seems to be more affordable when you think about the pleasure of giving the beach.

The bravest ones wear bathing clothes, others walk and play through the sand belt.

“We look forward to the weekend and welcome something better”, says a vacationer.
