Analysts and political developments have told of Rtv21.tv how they expect the latest phase of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue to take place in Brussels.
Labinot Greicevci, executive director of the Institute RIDEA says the first scenario is preserving the status quo.
“The first scenario is continuing the status quo. This is then reflected in two modes. The first approach is to wait and see, and the second mode is to continue with technical and political dialogue, but without a time and political agenda”, Greicevci said.
The second scenario of developments in dialogue, according to Greicevci, is mutual recognition between the two states, or an international agreement without recognition of Kosovo.
Greicevci also cites the third scenario, which according to him is the correction of the borders between Kosovo and Serbia, which, according to him, is most supported by Belgrade.
Naim Rashit of the Balkan Policy Research Group predicts tensions towards the end of the dialogue.
There will be tense situations, we will constantly have incidents, because the process itself is such, complicated and in some form neither Kosovo nor Serbia is prepared by good will to destroy”, Rashi says.
