Leonora Jakupi was the surprise guest tonight in the “program to make you happy” for Mother Ferdonija.
Like Mother Ferdonija and singer Leonora Jakupi in the Kosovo war have lost some family members, including their father.
Leonora sang her hymn “A killed innocence”, a song dedicated to her father and all Albanians who lost their lives in the Kosovo war. Leonora said that this song was the only reason she had begun to sing again.
She was touched the whole time the story was told and cried when she met Mother Ferdonija.
The singer said: “I can't give you advice because you've been a strong mother and you keep being one. All I can do is take advice from you. Can I be your chip?
Mother Ferdonija replied that she could be her daughter and thanked all those people who had supported her.
