Montenegro's “Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic commended him for choosing the new president. We are happy that this country chose a president who has aspirations the same as our country, the European family and permanent friendship with the US. Our vision like Kosovo is to deepen friendly, neighbourly, economic and political reports with Montenegro. This country has shown willingness to help Kosovo in the extremely important processes through which the country has passed”, Prime Minister Haradinaj has said.
As the prime minister's office reports, for Prime Minister Markovik, Kosovo remains one of the countries with which economic co-operation and political partnerships should be intensified, areas for which Montenegro will devote itself to advancing until it supports Kosovo on its European path.
Kosovo and Montenegro's prime minister also discussed joint infrastructure projects, the road connecting Kosovo with Montenegro, the railway crossing Bjello Pollen ão Peja, for the support of the Montenegrin community in Kosovo and Albanian in Montenegro, and many other important projects for both countries.
