Haradinaj awaits court's decisions on the fate of ministers to have been brought to an indictment

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has acknowledged that at the moment he will not fire ministers who have filed charges by the tribunal.

For this, the chief executive has said they will await the Court's decision.

The decisions the government has to make to ministers with the indictment must be expected by the court, and once we cannot make the decision. The government will make decisions under the law on this”, the government's first said.

According to Haradinaj, only establishing the indictment is good news for order and law in the country.

The prime minister, together with Justice Minister at a media conference, expressed great happiness even with the approval of the new Penal Code.

Haradinaj also pointed out why the point of the financial situation was kept on closed doors.

He said such discussions are good, adding that the finance minister presented current positions and financial orientation to the government economic funds.

The Kosovo government approved the country's new Criminal Code. In this code, 19 articles have been revised in acts related to corruption and organised crime.

The code now also envisions that public officials who commit criminal acts cannot exercise any position in the period of ten years.

Earlier, the ban on public office for those who committed criminal acts was 5 years.
