The Gulistan educational institutions have issued a press release today saying that despite recent events, they are determined to continue educational and educational activity in Kosovo.
Here it points out that this educational institution will use all the rights known to European and international conventions, as well as the Kosovo Constitution to whiteen the case of Turkish citizens' arrest and deportation, five of them taught at the “college, Mehmet Akif”.
Through this communique, the college has said that all its work and operation are done in accordance with Kosovo laws, via KosovaPress.
Full statement:
The Gulistan Educational Institutions have begun educational activity in Kosovo since 2000. These institutions have been opened on the basis of the request of the Kosovo Albanian people as a result of humanitarian and educational assistance provided in Albania by College staff Mehmet Akif for the Albanian population expelled from home and their country from using violence and genocide by Serb forces.
Our institutions since the first day of activity have precisely implemented the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. They have also devoted particular importance to the quality of education offered, and currently many achievements in various scientific, national and international areas (238 medals in competitions and international Olympics are counted. The quality in teaching our schools has also been proven by about 2,000 of our seniors who have continued higher studies at the best universities in and abroad.
Just as all public opinion is aware, on March 28, 2018 our five teachers have been illegally kidnapped contrary to democratic principles which, above all else, respect each human's individual rights in spite of ethnic affiliation, faith, political or ideological beliefs, as ineligible principles embedded in the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo. From this event, all education personnel of the Gulistan Educational Institutions, our students, our parents, as well as all of Kosovo's people are saddened.
We inform all public opinion that the Gulistan Educational Institutions will use all rights that recognise the international and European conventions, the Constitution and the laws of Kosovo to whiteen the event and legal responsibilities of all persons and institutions involved in the kidnapping.
We believe that, as a democratic state built in accordance with the highest standards, Kosovo will institutionally address the legal responsibility of actors involved in this serious case, in line with the values of the rule of law and the European values it represents, ensuring that these events, which endanger its European path, never happen again in the future.
We let our students know, our parents, as well as all public opinion, that we are determined to continue educational and educational activity despite these unfortunate events. The planned education and education will continue with the same quality and rigorousity! Learning personnel reinforcements will be made to replace kidnapped professors.
In this difficult and sad event that we are living in, we want to save all those who have not left us alone but have sustained us throughout our journey
