Google Failed, businessman wins trial to eliminate harmful information

He demanded that the results of the search for a past crime he had committed leave the search engine. Identity has not been made public because of this case.

The judge, Mr. Justice Mark Warby has put the situation in his favour on Friday.

But he rejected a special request made by another businessman who had committed a more serious crime. This is the only case the court is going against Google.

For that, Google said it would accept the decisions.

We work hard to respect the right to be forgotten, but we take care not to remove the results of the search that are in public interest. We are pleased that the Court recognized our efforts in this area and that we will respect the judgments they have made in this case”, Says a statement.

Many years ago, there were several other cases that failed to resist the biggest search engine.

The businessman, who won his case, was sentenced 10 years ago for plotting to capture communications. He spent six months in prison.

The other businessman, who lost his case, was convicted more than 10 years ago of plotting to calculate falsely. He spent four years in prison.

Both had ordered Google to remove the results of their research on their beliefs, including links to news articles, claiming they were no longer relevant.
