This number leads to about five thousand people -- the number of those who have been deported by EU countries starting in early January until now.
Albanian Deputy General Director of State Police Aida Haynaj, present in Rinas, during a media proposal, has stressed the State Police as well for 2018, will continue implementing additional measures to prevent the asylum research phenomenon.
Under preventive measures, 80 Albanian citizens have been prosecuted during this period, who have attempted to cross the border with forged documents.
The measures have also been strengthened on the green border, with some 700 Albanian citizens attempting to cross the border illegally as a result of patrols.
State police are determined to rigorously implement additional measures, until the prevention of asylum research phenomenon, Oranews writes.
