The paperwork, published by the Associated Press, came after the meeting that Comey had with the American president at the White House in February 2017, a few weeks after his inauguration as president.

The release of the paperwork comes after the Department of Justice has given copies to Congress following the demands of republican lawmakers.
Trump has repeatedly called the former FBI chief a liar and opposed the contents of the memorandums, which Comey said he wrote shortly after meetings with the president. Earlier this week, Trump wrote to twitter that all the alleged paperwork was “fake”.
The White House has not returned answers to any comment on these allegations and claims. The documents deal with events that Comey has detailed in his testimony to Congress.
