April 21, 99, for the Mirena family, it would turn into tragedy. 16 men of this family on this date were taken out of their homes by Serb forces to be killed afterwards.
On the 19th anniversary of their murder, Izet Mirena says justice for his family was never put in place, KTV reports.
The Mirena raid was only 10 years old, when Serbian forces killed Father along with 15 family members.
He is just one of the 33 children of this family who became an orphan after the massacre that took place in his family
Although 19 years have passed, members of the Mirena family say the institutions did not launch an actual investigation into the murders committed in this family.
KTV has tried to take a stand by Kosovo Special Prosecutor over the Mirena family case, but Special Chief Prosecutor Reshat Milaku has not been accessible.
