On Tuesday, Prime Minister Edi Rama met with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who had arrived in Tirana on a sudden and informal visit.
This meeting took place in informal environments and was reported to be the issue of tensions between Kosovo and Turkey following the deportation of six Turkish citizens, charged as terrorists by Erdogan.
But, Prime Minister Edi Rama denied that he has been asked to intercede with the Turkish president.
We produce more stories than we can train! All this was a produced story that is more than we can train. When it comes to conspiracy theories. I'm saying that Turkish word (kazan), that then you upset!”, Prime Minister Edi Rama answered Top Channel's question.
Thaci has good relations with Turkish President Erdogan and as president of Kosovo named persons infiltrated Turkey as people involved in illegal activities, thus defending their surrender to Turkish authorities.
Against this action has brought to light Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who dismissed Interior Minister and the head of the intelligence service, as they had not made it known. This led him to a frontal approach with President Turk, who in two public statements has threatened to account for why he supports the jihadists.
In that middle, Edi Rama is the one who has good relations with the three -- Thaci, Haradinaj and Erdogan -- thus trying to restore peace not only between the two allies in Pristina, but also between Kosovo and Turkey.
Rama met a few days ago with Erdogan in Istanbul.
