The sanctions against Russia seem to have made it their own, and in this case the first to have been hit is the owner of Chelsea FC, Roman Abramovich
Abramovich, according to a Moscow Times report, is one of the 50 richest Russian businessmen to have been hit by sanctions the US and Western European countries have imposed against Russia.
The US has imposed sanctions on all those businessmen, companies and Russian government officials who have close ties with Russian President Vladimir Puti. Sanctions come as punishment for this business and their involvement in U.S.'s 2016 elections
The consequences are not yet known what will be in the London club, but most analysts have predicted that this year Chelsea be in financial trouble, which has been seen even during the January transitional deadline, where Chelsea has failed to send names to Istanbul Bridge.
