So said the deputy chairman of this political subject, Agim Veliu. He said that, so far, in the LDK, there has been no talk about who should be the candidate for prime minister, as they are waiting for how things are running in government. However, according to him, it is good for each one to have the will to be a candidate.
We haven't talked so far, we're waiting on how the situation is going, and what's going on with Government”, Veliu says.
And if the country goes to early parliamentary elections, then, the Democratic League of Kosovo will meet and discuss how it will be carried out further. “If the country goes to the polls, the LDK structures will be collected, and this is a matter defined with documents and the party's organs decide who will be”, Veliu claimed for “Gazeta Blic”.
According to Veliu, the Peja chairman's statements, Gazmend Mujarır, who should be the LDK candidate for Kosovo prime minister, are a question of will, but, in the end, the organs of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
Similarly, Veliu mentioned the fact that he has always won elections and has never been in loss.
It's not a question of anyone's individual will, it's good that everyone will be prime minister, but it's not right to say that I'm going to be a candidate, or now I'm being a candidate for prime minister, because I've never lost the election. This is a matter of personal will. But that depends on the decision that LDK bodies make. That's where each organ has to sit, just like it's meant to go into procedures and set me up. Only then can we say that it's okay”, has Deputy Chairman Veliu” concluded the statement.
Meanwhile, Gazmend Muhhajeri, who heads the Peja municipality, has declared to the media that he must be the LDK candidate for prime minister. I believe that I should be a candidate for prime minister. I've run well and won without a run-off. I don't see any other 78x1>, Muhajer said. Gazmend Muharnier, is exercising his second term as head of the Peja municipality.
