Blasts of charges have occurred among the Initiative's deputy, Alboulena Balaj-Halim, and Elkos leader, who is owned by LDK deputy Ramiz Kelmendi.
Balaj-Halimaj, has called for consumers to boycott Elkos, as there are many irregularities in this meat product economic operator.
The immediate reaction has been by Elkos representative Fatos Islami, accusing the MP of being paid to call off buying meat in ELKOS.
If you say MP don't come [consumers] to buy meat in Elkos, then you're paid by someone”, Islam has said to the MP.
I am here with other MPs to protect the citizens of Kosovo, and paid only by them”, she said.
In the ETC market networks, meat had been confiscated months ago on expired terms. We also remember that months ago a scandal in Belgium with broken meat had affected Kosovo as well.
Belgian company “Vevaba” had also exported to Kosovo, where meat has been confiscated indefinitely in some Kosovo cities.
