The match, played April 19th between Fenerbaches and Besiktast, brought tensions to the field and was then interrupted when local fans hit coach Senol Gunes' head, the Peruiscope broadcast.
“Respecting our 115-year-old tradition, and discussing with our leaders, we come with a stance that it will not travel at all for the Fenerbahces match. We hope that this decision will be followed by fans” as well, it is written in the announcement of the Besiktas Club.
The case is expected to benefit Fenerbahce as it passes to the finals of Turkey's Cup. /Periscope/
