Russian authorities' measures to block specific applications for exchange of messages have damaged Viber users.
As a result of these measures by Russian authorities, Russian users of different online services are facing difficulties in access to these services.
Report from Viber posted on her Facebook page:
Due to the Russian authorities' recent decision to block specific apps for text exchange, several telecom operators are blocking access to several internet delivery servers.
As a result of these measures, Russian users of different online services, including Viber, are facing difficulties in access to these services.
We are deeply concerned that our service has become the collateral victim of the situation that affects our users who use Viber to connect with friends and family on a daily basis.
Our experts are making every effort to return full access to all of Viber's users as soon as possible.
We appreciate your patience and keep you informed.
