Many residents of Kukes were arrested after protesting yesterday in opposition to placing a tax on the Nation Street.
They sought tax removal and even did not hesitate to throw stones, light fire, while carrying firearms.
Thousands of residents of the northern city of Kukes had joined in the area to demand tax removal. The government said Thursday that the lowest tariff would be set for frequent users.
“This is theft”, an angry protester told reporters.
