German producer Audi announced the introduction of RS electric models in the near future.
The RS5 production manager Anthony Garbis has not discovered exactly which Audi models will have a hybrid car, but he said they will arrive very soon.
Analysts speculate that the first hybrid RS could debut with the new Q8 SUV.
The main reason for these speculation is that the concept of Q8 sports is represented by hybrid machines, consisting of a 6-literal TFSI 6 cylinders and an electrical compressor offering about 480 horsepower. The car is up to 0-100 km / h in 4.7 seconds and has maximum speed of 275 km/h.
Audi is not the only German producer to produce hybrid versions of sports models, since BMW and Mercedes - AMG are also planning.
The first will be Mercedes-Benz with the new generation C63 as such.
