A South Korean actress, kidnapped by North Korea and forced to make films for the state, has died at the age of 92.
Choi Eun-hee was a leading actress in the South when he was kidnapped under the orders of then-head. Kim Jong-il, late 1970s.
Her former husband, a prominent director, was also kidnapped several months later. The two later escaped successfully.
North Korea has always denied the couple's kidnapping, saying that they had sought refuge there.
Mrs. Choi died Monday afternoon at a hospital in South Korea.
